It’s been suggested by one Only Fools and Horses Fan that it would make a great script having Del Boy on Dragons Den. I have to say its a great idea as a sketch. So Liam wants you fans to come up with some ideas of what Del would pitch to the Dragons

You get the idea as Del would certainly have all sorts of attempts. Liam says “I need a few ideas but i was wondering if maybe you could do a poll on the website for ideas what line of business Del and Rodney could put before the dragons.”

Its occurred to me over the last few days that Ive heard of a David and Nick duo before somewhere

Of course our very own David Jason and Nick Lyndhurst aka Del and Rodney

With all the hype of the political affairs in the UK just imagine what Del and Rodney would have on the agenda

David and Nick Dynamic Duo

No Tax on cars – just a tax in post sticker is sufficient

Rodney would handle the green issues as Dels not too worried with his aerosol

Building blocks everywhere to solve the housing crisis

No Income tax

No Vat

Unemployment is a positive way forward

No queen speach, just a circus broadcast at 3 oclock on christmas day

The only market crash would be a barrow turning over at Shepherds bush

Road sweeper women – to give Trigger a chance of finding a bird

I can’t say minitures are my greatest love in life, but you have to admire the patience of soime people. This week a whole gallery of miniature masterpieces have been on display. According to all attendees they steal the show.

The miniatures includes cakes, houses and even our dear little tiny plonkers in their beloved Nelson Mandela flat. Certainly this took centre stage at Birmingham spring fair.

This miniature of DelBoy, Rodney and Uncle Albert from Only Fools And Horses, made by Carol Bull from Bromsgrove. Its so realistic its untrue!

So what do you need to know about Scale modelling?

It covers everything from the most popular 1:12 scale for dolls houses to the larger train set type scales.
It is not necessarily an expensive hobby, a flat pack dolls house made in MDF to a perfectly acceptible standard can be bought for under £100. They can, of course be purchased for far more, but each house is what you make of it.

The hobby has come on leaps and bounds in the last five years, with companies now mass producing not only Victorian styles, but also churches, pre-war and post war models. For those who have less room, there are 1:12 scale sheds, conservatories, summer houses and medieval towers availale. Or, if you want a smaller scale dolls house, 1:24 scale is also popular.

Many modellers make furnishings themselves, or adapt second hand things, but buying from the available catalogues is also inexpensive.

More than 200 exhibitors showed off their pint-sized collectables at the fair this weekend.

Bonnet de douche – French and impressive. Del must of been taking a shower and just had a realisation that this is more than you’re average French. He uses it in all sorts of areas of life and it really makes him the class man that he is. Yes Dels number one phrase has to be “shower cap”.

Many fonts have been used to emulate the style of Only Fools and Horses over the years.

Below are what we consider the nearest thing to an Only Fools font.

If you are building a web site you may find these helpful to download

Our preference is the Mistral font. The Mistral font was designed in 1953 by leading French designer, Roger Excoffon. The Mistral font was based on Mistral’s own handwriting and has become an institution among script typefaces. The Mistral font was the first of the textured edge styles and its fresh, distinctive appearance makes it very popular. The capitals can be used alone or with the lowercase that joins in true script fashion.

This is where you can get involved. Send us a “comic strip” similar in standard to the ones below.

Please make sure you follow our guidelines to avoid disappointment as we will not show any that don’t meet the criteria
