  1. 2014 was an awesome year. A long queue but so many cast, who didn’t give up until they had spent time with everyone :)

    • Griff says:

      Hi Suzanne,

    Hi,
We are huge fans of OFAH, we live in Australia and have purchased many wonderful treasures from your shop. We will be in London in October this year and would be so excited if the Convention worked in with our dates, so I’m asking if you might know when these dates maybe available.
Look forward to hearing from you

    Thank you so much

    Kind regards

  4. Woz says:

Hoping for early 2015 convention dates to be published :)

  5. Rob M says:

Just a shame we lost both – Rodger Lloyd Pack and Roy Heather earlier this year – as those 2 loved going to the conventions and meeting the fans.

I met both of them in 2003 – smashing men, both of them had so much time for the fans and taking photographs.

    god bless Trig n’ Sid.

  6. Dean says:

Hello just wanted2 say the convention was great been to most of them And it’s the best day out!. It don’t matter what people say perry does a great job!. I’m a huge fan and always looking for new stuff for money our swap!. Just great 2 speak 2 other big collectors swap pics and info :). My number is 07800907614 our deanpaine@hotmail.co.uk. Thanks dean

  7. Rob Wilson says:

A great year and after queuing for 7 hours the actors still had a smile on their face and even apologised for us the que being so long.however how about giving every 100 people a ticket with a time slot to meet the actors so you dont need to que for 6-7 hours..that way you could enjoy the other attractions as well..the interaction zone was closed after i had finished meeting the actors and i was inside the main line queuing from 10:10am and so that was disappointing.

  8. rob wilson says:

Was a great day.my second convention.however I was thinking how about letting 100 ppl a time to meet the actors maybe with a time slot for each group..that way they can enjoy the other attractions, maybe have something to eat without having to worry about missing the actors and having to que for 7hours..still a great day.

  9. dave masters says:

Had a great day with my son on sunday queued from 7 only had a general entry ticket got to the actors at 1 well worth the wait thought lady vicky was very nice. only downside was got a picture with everyone except paul barber as i was chatting to him then forgot to ask for a picture lol but still had a fantastic day.

  10. dean says:

I got the large photo signed for a friend by all 11 actors, and he changed his mind…

i have 2 for sale, let me know if you are interested

all 11 actors were lovely… Just loved lady victoria, so much class!

  11. Fed Up of Watford says:

Could I suggest there is a sign at the entrance that says ‘expect an 8 hour wait’ BEFORE the entrance? The actors were very nice and signed / posed for photos but a warning for people buying tickets on the day that they will be spending 8 hours in a queue is fair warning. £20 to sit on a hard plastic chair with two kids for that long with nothing in the way of entertainment for those queuing (a TV at one end it be queue and a man trying to sell stuff is NOT entertainment) is a lot to ask of anyone. Especially a family of four who are just casual fans. NEVER again. Sorry.

    • Ryan Gallear says:

Totally agree. We queued 8 hours also. Awful organisation. Signs saying no photos with actors and limited autographs count for nothing. Queue jumping all over the place. Reported one guy for queue jumping but he went through Disabled because his hand was bandaged up? Pardon? What? Bandaged up? Disabled access should be wheelchairs only.
Completely underwhelmed by the whole day, so disappointed. Didn’t expect to spend my whole day, literally queuing.
      Need answers and explanations.

    • gary says:

i think your right family off 4 waiting all that time is rong i was on my own thats how long iv at too wait i just think its all set up rong i cant understand why there was small tv on one side showing only fools horses clips there should off been big screen on the way some music there was one thing i notice people are takeing too long talking to the actors, its nice seeing the actors be nice chat while i think they should not sell anythink by the actors go up get ya photo sign walk off as i was standing watching there was no movement im sure i hope next year be blinder, if i was in charge do things my way there will not be 8 hour wait gary small

    • Griff says:

Yep – it’s a tough old gig these conventions. As great as it is to meet some of the actors, it’s completely hellish queuing for the length of time required.

I would recommend the Early Bird tickets next time.

  12. Sleathy says:

Hi all! What a great day!

I just want to say a HUGE THANKS to the 11 actors who arrived and stayed all day at the Convention. For those of us queuing it can seem like a long time – but I try to remember that it is up to 12 hours+ commitment for the actors and yet they remain chipper to the very end. I had a brilliant day and loved sneaking many fabulous photos and I thought the upstairs arena was excellent with 5 clear areas. I loved meeting up with many other OFAH fans and was tempted with some of the wonderful memorabilia! My final thanks go to all the staff who served us during the day and especially organisers Keith (anyone want the last Licensed to drill for £5?) and Perry and all the others I do not know by name. Thank you – one and all! Here’s to the 18th :-)

    • Don Leahy says:

Brilliant,Best convention I’ve been to(8 in total),this is the first time we bought the early bird tickets and now we wont go back to the normal ones. The Stars were superb as usual(special praise to Sarah Duncan who seemed very shy amongst the others)can’t wait for next year, well done Perry and crew!

    • Graham says:

Well done to all involved in this fantastic convention. Actors performed well above the normal to make everyone’s day. Well fone to Perry and crew for putting together a fantastic day for fans of the great OFAH. See you next year.

It was my first convention and definitely won’t be my last, great day!

I was abit disappointed they never sold/shown any of the DVD cuts, does any one have any of the uncut episodes?

    • Graham says:

Well done and thank-you to the fantastic actors who attended and stayed so long to make sure everyone had a fantastic day. Brilliant day out. Congratulations to Perry and crew for putting together another chance for all the fans. Here’s to next year.

    • Vern says:

I echo everything Sleathy said in his great post about this event.

This was my first OFAH convention. Mainly due to geography and family circumstance, but hopefully it will not be my last. I purchased the £5 ticket as I honestly did not know if I would be able to attend until the day due to family health circumstances, so knew I would be in for a long queue.

I joined the queue at 09:30 and met the guests six hours later. This is where the event organisation paid off with the long snaking queue being steered by rows of well placed chairs allowing attendees to sit if needed. I did not mind the length of queue as there was plenty of banter from guests and staff, and it was fun chatting to others.

As has been mentioned, the eleven guests were amazing. They went beyond the call of duty to make everyone happy, and interacted with people in the queue before they got to the signing row also which helped the queue experience. I think all eleven are stars for they way they made it a wonderful experience for everyone, and I really did enjoy meeting each one of them.

The staff were friendly and helpful also, so thanks to everyone for a really nice event. I will definitely try to get to a future convention. You know it makes sense!

Travelled down from Newcastle, queued for 6 hours, absolutely worth it! The actors were amazing and very accommodating to the fans. Very well organised event, dream come true and a day I’ll never forget! Cloud 9!! :)

  30. dave masters says:

Hi was wondering it says on the convention ticket you get 2 signed free autographs was wondering how much do they charge after that then?

  31. adam says:

Hi there, will be coming along but just have an ordinary ticket not an early bird one. What sort of time are the rest of the public generally let in once the early ticket holders have gone? Will be arriving about 9 ish.
Went a couple of years ago but made the mistake of not arriving till lunchtime so wanted to get there early this time.

    • CraigW says:

      Adam.

General Entry tickets are in from 10am. You will have to decide if you want to queue longer outside before entry, or longer once inside the venue.

From previous experiences, and based on others feedback, I would queue from 7am to 8am if you want a good spot in the queue!

      Cheers, Craig.

      • dave says:

hi was wondering as this is my first convention do the early bird ticket holders queue with the general entry people outside before they go in as i only live a 2 minutes walk from the venue and theres only one entrance in.also as i only managed to get a general ticket if i start to queue at 7am i should be ok to meet the actors?

  32. Nic Milner says:

    Hi Guys,
I have early bird tickets, I was wondering how these work as I have only been to the convention once and paid for general entry and we joined the queue to get into the building and then then 3-4 hour gueue inside to meet the actors.

I was wondering whether there are still two queues?
what the difference in the waiting time is?
what time is best to arrive?
Will you have DVD cuts on sale on the day?

coming down from Chester and can’t wait :)

    • CraigW says:

      Nic.

      1) yes, there are two queues. One queue is for Early Birds, other for general entry
      2) Early Bird you wait (usually) up to a couple of hours, General Entry can be anything up to 6 hours (approx of course)
      3) Early Bird gets you in at 9am, General Entry from 10am. As you have an early bird, I would say 7 to 8am , as entry is 9am then you will have a queue once you get in, albeit a little shorter than general entry.
      4) DVD cuts, not as such. The Rare Episodes will be sold on DVD during the day (depending on stock) and other fantastic pieces of merchandise/memorabilia.

Anything else, I will try and answer.

      Cheers, Craig

    • David oldfield says:

    • Danielle says:

Hi I was wondering does anyone know how much the autographs are? I thought they were f not :/

  33. Rob M says:

Can I just say, for those of you who plan on arriving at something like 1.00 in the afternoon.

DONT go in the afternoon, you will not stand a chance of meeting the actors, as the cue to meet them will be out of this world.

I went to the Maidstone Kent one in 2008, and I bitterly regret arriving at 1.00 in the afternoon, as it was about a 6-7 hour wait to meet the actors.

ARRIVE at conventions, brand spanking early in the morning to avoid disapointment.

  34. Harry March says:

Hi I was wondering what are you aloud to get signed or is it just the free photo

  35. karl emery says:

Hi I,m sorry but I couldn,t find any other way of contacting you but here. My son is a disabled person that comes to the convention every year and I sent for his tickets as normal and when they come I signed for them and there was only the leaflets in the envelope and no tickets. I have tried to find them through the post office but they do not have them. Could you please send out replacements as my son is so upset.
    Kind regards Mrs Emery

  36. Steve says:

    Hi,

This will be my first time going. I have commitments on a Sunday morning and wont be able to get there until 1.30pm, is it still worth me going?

    • Laura C says:

Hi, sorry to say but getting there at 1.30 is really pushing it for meeting the actors, you’ll probably be OK with buying merchandise tho

  37. I am going to the convention in October cannot wait. Already booked a ticket

  38. Glenn Allberry says:

I understand Sue Holderness (Marlene) was signing autographs at an Only Fools & Horses exhibition on Southend Pier in Essex over the Bank Holiday weekend. But unfortunately for me, I could not make it.

Is it possible I could have her autograph forwarded onto me?

  39. Rob M says:

One cut I would love to see and have NEVER seen it – is in ‘the miracle of Peckham’ when Rodney is attempting to get Biffo’s trumpet out of the rubbish shoot – the missing part is when Rodney picks up a kipper and sniffs it.

the kipper sniffing happens just after the slop falls over him.

    • Del Boy says:

I have never seen it either. The only cuts I am missing are this episode and Yuppy Love

      • Jack Kelly says:

Does this mean that you have the cuts from the following?

        Watching The Girls Go By
        Miami Twice
        Thicker Than Water

I’ve never seen them and would love to get my hands on them!

        • Del Boy says:

Yes..Thicker Than Water is available on iTunes uncut

          • Jack Kelly says:

Ah, thank you! Just downloaded it – lovely jubbly!

Would it be at all possible for you to upload the ‘Watching The Girls Go By’ and ‘Miami Twice’ cuts to Daily Motion (YouTube will kick them off for copyright)? I’m sure that, like me, there’s loads of people that regularly visit this site that haven’t seen them and would really love to.

          • Del Boy says:

Unfortunately they are both on my Tivo box

  40. Sarah says:

    Hi,

Love the Only Fools & Horses Convention. We go every year but this year I will b heavily pregnant & before I booked my tickets just wanted to check with Perry or someone if I would b able to go in disabled queue as like I said I’ll b heavily pregnant on the day, thanks in advance x

  41. Del Boy says:

Can someone point me in the right direction of the best person to contact about the DVD cuts?

    • steve says:

hi, which dvd cut’s are you wanting??

      • Del Boy says:

Yuppy Love.. do you have them, or know someone that has?

        • adam says:

Yuppy Love and the missing scenes from Watching the girls go by are the only bits i am missing from my collection. Would love to have them. Can anyone help?

      • Jim says:

do you have the class of 62 uncut? the mighty quinn scene

        • Rob M says:

This cut is available to watch on the old VHS home video tape release.

the released home video version which was released about 20 years ago, it has a blueish front cover, and says ‘DANGER UXD’ on front cover.

get the video tape – as this episode contains, the class of ’62, fully uncut and contains the duo sitting in Del’s flat, singing mighty quinn.

        • Del Boy says:

Yes, you can download the uncut version from itunes

  42. Del Boy says:
