If you know Gerry Cowper we would love to hear from her
She also played Jim Hackers daughter Lucy in one episode of Yes Minister.
I finished high school in 1979, the year that Gerry Cowper appeared with co-star Stephen Garlick (voice of Jen in ‘Dark Crystal’) in a TV series called ‘Two People’.
Apart from (possibly because of) the fact she resembled the girl I was desperately in love with at the time, the story of two people in love trying to break away from the oppressive stipulations of an intolerant society struck a chord with me. It’s not unreasonable to say that it had an affect on my opinions, beliefs and decisions ever since.
She also appeared in the 1973 film ‘The Wicker Man’, playing the character of Rowan Morrision, the missing girl who was used to lure Edward Woodward to his fate.
I think that the Hangliding episode is one of the best ones featured, and her part in it was really good acting.
I agree, it was such a great combination
voted as one of the best only fools and horses episodes ever!
