WHAT A WONDERFULL, WARM, HEARTFELT TRIBUTE EDITION OF ‘HOOKIE STREET’ DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF THE ‘ONE & ONLY & SO SADLY MISSED JOHN SULLIVAN’ (GOD REST HIM). I STILL CAN’T BELIEVE HE IS NO LONGER WITH US – BRITISH COMEDY LOST A ‘LEGEND & A GENTLEMAN’. IN 5, 10, 20 & 30 YEARS TIME ‘ONLY FOOLS & HORSES’ & ‘ROCK & CHIPS’ WILL CONTINUE TO GET NEW VIEWERS AS THEY ARE TIMELESS COMEDIES & ALL DUE TO JOHN’S WONDERFULL COMEDY WRITING SKILLS & HIS GREAT ABILITY TO BRING A SMILE TO OUR FACES EVEN IN A SAD SCENE. WHEN YOU’RE FEELING DOWN PUT ON AN EPISODE OF ‘ONLY FOOLS & HORSE’ OR ‘ROCK & CHIPS’ & I GUARENTEE YOU’LL BE LAUGHING INSIDE 30 SECONDS. NO DOUBT JOHN WILL BE WRITING SCRIPTS IN HEAVEN FOR LENNARD, BUSTER, KEN & THE ACTRESS EVA MOTLEY WHO PLAYED DENZIL’S DRAGON OF A WIFE CORINNE (GOD REST THEM ALL). ‘JOHN SULLIVAN – YOU’LL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN & THANKYOU FOR THE LAUGHS YOU CONTINUE TO GIVE ME – GOD BLESS YOU SIR’.

Surpassed yourselves! You have surpassed yourselves!!! This is the finest of tributes to a very fine writer, John Sullivan. I have read it cover to over several times today – I love the floral “from Delboy & Rodney” tribute on each page ….I wonder whether that was an actual card sent with flowers to dear John’s funeral? As your words say …where would we all be without John Sullivan’s incredible wit and writing talent. This is a marvellous and poignant tribute magazine- well worth the membership fee in itself! well done to all the team!
