“Fancy a curry”?
NAME: Miranda Davenport
EPISODE: Yesterday never comes (series 3)
Del’s eager to get into the antiques game, especially if it involves dealing with a posh tart like Miranda Davenport, originally she only came up to the flat to view Delboys banana box of a Queen Anne cabinet but she was soon won over by his joy de vivre, promises of the finest curry & Malibu sunsets, either that or she her eye on a valuable painting on his wall.
Miranda Davenport, too dangerous for Del
Despite being four at the time, Rodney can’t remember the time he was having his nappy changed and his mother promised Del the painting when she goes, yep he’s “given it to that tart” as Grandad so lovingly put it. However had Del known she was going to auction it perhaps he wouldn’t have been so generous, thankfully Miranda has convinced her parents to sign an affidavit swearing the painting has been in their family for generations, because those auction officials weren’t admiring the brush strokes when they started to take a strong interest in it.
She looks like she’s got a hot chip in her mouth!
The very definition of a posh, snobby but hot bird!
Classic line : I felt a little overdressed for a Bernie Inn
