According to the Nationalfilmawards.org website, our very dear Del and Rodney maybe celebrating the lifetime achievement award. When you consider the incredible viewing figure audiences the two have held over decades of comedy, and the way in which the nation continues to show them great affection, it seems a very fitting tribute.
The lifetime achievement award is the highest accolade which is awarded to veterans of the stage or screen is voted for by the public.
Sir David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst are this year’s recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award 2017. The National Film Awards UK 2017 takes place on the 29th of March 2017.
