- INT - THE CELLAR - IMMEDIATE
Denzil is feeding papers through the shredder.Trigger: Here's the last of it
Denzil.
Trigger hands Denzil some more paperwork.
Denzil: Thank Goodness for
that Trigger. This is fiddly and time consuming, I just hope our
'employer' appreciates this effort.
Del enters in haste, Mike follows close by. There are boxes of
shredded paper and Del can see that Denzil is busy feeding yet more
paperwork into the shredder.
Del:
Oh no! Trigger, Tell me you and Denzil haven't got rid of all the
paperwork.
Trigger: No, it's all here still Del, it's
in there.
Trigger points to two boxes, both full of shredded paper.
Denzil looks up from the shredder and looks from Del to
Mike.
Denzil: Oh great, this is
another Trotter classic isn't it. Don't tell me, we've shredded
something important.
Del is forlorn and sits down resignedly on one of the empty
kegs.
Del:
Vitally important Denzil, but there's not a lot we can do about it
now.
Trigger: Perhaps we can piece this all back
together.
Del:
Gor, blimey, Trigger, it took you a fortnight to complete that
Thomas the Tank jigsaw puzzle I got you for Christmas, what chance
would you have getting this lot back
together?
Denzil: Nobody could piece this
lot back together, don't even think about it.
Del:
No, that's right Denzil. (picks up some of the paper fragments).
Just like all my dreams this is.
Trigger: What? Rubbish?
Del:
No. My dreams always end up in shreds.
