If you have ever watched the original broadcasts of any episode with Damian Trotter in, you will be familiar with the striking music that accompanies the piercing look given from Damian to Rodney.
So What is the music that usually plays when Rodney sees Damien?
Well on all the Video and DVD releases it’s been removed and replaced with a poor man’s version. But the original piece is known as Carmen Burana
Carmen Burana was composed by Carl Orf from 254 poems in 1935. The music became familiar to many in the 1970s as the theme to the Old Spice advert. Now it’s famously used regularly for the opening tune to the XFactor judges walk on.
How we long for the BBC to allow the original tunes of all the episodes, meanwhile you can still catch the great tune on the repeats found on BBC GOLD.

Carl Orf, “O, Fortuna”
Above link no longer works for some reason.
Actually, the tune is from the Carmen Burana Suite, written by Carl Orf but the track is actually the first movement from said suite called “O, fortuna”.
