Could HAVE, not could OF, for goodness sake!

    • Ronnie says:

It’s “could of” in South London mate.

      • Paddy The Greek says:

It’s not. It’s could’ve, which is a contraction of ‘could have’, or could ‘ave (the natural dropping of the ‘h’ that occurs with a London accent, and indeed many other accents). It just so happens that when you pronounce ‘have’ as ”ave’ as many Londoners do, it sounds virtually the same as ‘of’, hence the common confusion.

Thanks for posting these up Jack.
I was watching this not long ago and wondered where all the cuts went.

Some of these cuts weren’t necessary but a lot were. Del was particularly nasty in this one.

    Hi Guys,

I have a copy of the magazine DVD of this episode, which is completely uncut. So I thought I’d upload the cuts for those interested in seeing them.

I’ve had to upload them to Daily Motion, as YouTube didn’t really like the idea.

    I hope you enjoy!

    Bonjour.

I’m watching Gold Channel tonight on the 14th of March and had been shocked to what the Gold Channel has done to the Royal Flush episode. They have edited it to shreds and have ruined the whole successful story. I have never ever seen such disastrous editing as I have tonight, Gold Channel should be ashamed of themselves. It was sickening to the stomach of the decapitated approach to a special show.

I think that should be “this dipstick’s been sitting here, reading a book about JETTIES” — as in jetty = pier (sounds like “peer”).

to be fair, Del did seem a bit nasty in this episode, especially at the end when he bribed the father and started mentioning Rodney’s drugs at the dinner scene Etc..

what i don’t understand is why John Sullivan waited 20 years to edit the episode.
