THE NAGS HEAD.<\/p>\n<p>Del, Boycie, Trigger &amp; Denzil sit at a table.<\/p>\n<p>DENZIL. How did you two get on with them two birds last night.<\/p>\n<p>DEL. Oh what, we knocked \u2018em bandy didn\u2019t we Boyce.<\/p>\n<p>BOYCIE. Err yeah.<\/p>\n<p>DENZIL. Did you get anywhere then?<\/p>\n<p>DEL. Did we get anywhere? Come on this is me your talking to.<\/p>\n<p>TRIGGER. I met a girl last night<\/p>\n<p>DEL. Yeah, where?<\/p>\n<p>TRIGGER. At the Laccarno.<\/p>\n<p>BOYCIE. Your sister works there don\u2019t she, Trig?<\/p>\n<p>TRIGGER. Yeah, it was her that I met, my mum asked me to walk her home.<\/p>\n<p>They react.<\/p>\n<p>DENZIL. Whats the Laccarno?<\/p>\n<p>DEL. It\u2019s a dance hall just down the road, ere we\u2019ll have to take you there Denz, get plenty of dolly birds in there, you\u2019ll be well away cos I reckon most of \u2018em won\u2019t have ever had a bla..bl..bloke of your build before.<\/p>\n<p>BOYCIE. You get a lot of riff-raff in that place though, if it\u2019s birds your after meeting Denzil you wanna get yourself down the Starlight Rooms.<\/p>\n<p>DEL. The where?<\/p>\n<p>BOYCIE. The starlight rooms, it\u2019s only been open a few week\u2019s, it\u2019s where the Top Twenty used to be.<\/p>\n<p>DEL. Leave off Delboy you never got in the Top Twenty.<\/p>\n<p>DEL. I bloody did, it used to have that young bird on the door, what was her name?<\/p>\n<p>BOYCIE. Corrine, her dad bought a bike off my old man recently.<\/p>\n<p>DEL. That\u2019s it, Corrine, ere you\u2019d like her Denzil \u2018cos she\u2019s bla\u2026.I mean because she\u2019s bl\u2026.bl\u2026.bloody nice, yeah she\u2019s bloody nice, lovely girl.<\/p>\n<p>TRIGGER. And she\u2019s black.<\/p>\n<p>They all react.<\/p>\n<p>As they continue an inaudible conversation Joan, Reg and Grandad enter.<\/p>\n<p>REG. Pint of mild for me, rum and black for him and a vodka and Orange for her.<\/p>\n<p>JOAN. Ere where\u2019s Rodney.<\/p>\n<p>REG. I left him outside.<\/p>\n<p>JOAN. You did what, bloody hell Reg.<\/p>\n<p>She goes out and comes back in with Rodney in his pram.<\/p>\n<p>JOAN. Oh look there\u2019s Delboy, send him over a pint reg.<\/p>\n<p>REG. (to barman) Give the boy a half.<\/p>\n<p>The barman pours the drinks as Joan goes over and talks to Del and the boys.<br \/>\nThe two men from the black car enter the pub.<\/p>\n<p>The older man motions to the younger man to take a seat, which he does.<br \/>\nThe older man approaches the bar where Reg is standing.<\/p>\n<p>OLDER MAN.(quietly) Meet me in the Khazi in 1 minute, don\u2019t ask any questions or he\u2019ll get nasty.<\/p>\n<p>He motions over the the younger man who holds a knife under the table.<\/p>\n<p>The old man enters the toilet.<\/p>\n<p>REG. You get a table Joan, I\u2019m going to the bog, I won\u2019t be a minute.<\/p>\n<p>INT. DAY. THE NAGS HEAD TOILET<\/p>\n<p>Reg enters and the older man is washing his hands, he walks up to Reg and wipes them on his jacket.<\/p>\n<p>OLDER MAN. Do you know who I am?<\/p>\n<p>REG. (interrupting) I\u2019m not Susan\u2019s old man.<\/p>\n<p>The younger man enters.<\/p>\n<p>YOUNGER MAN. Do you want me to do him here?<\/p>\n<p>Reg reacts.<\/p>\n<p>OLDER MAN. Not yet, we\u2019ve still got the introductions to get out of the way, now you go sit back down, I\u2019ll call you when we\u2019re ready.<\/p>\n<p>Del enters as the younger man leaves and sees there seems to be some sort of stand off.<\/p>\n<p>DEL. Dad. What\u2019s going on?<\/p>\n<p>REG. Nothing son go sit with your friends.<\/p>\n<p>DEL. (to the older man) Is he threatening you?<\/p>\n<p>OLDER MAN. Wha\u2026.?<\/p>\n<p>DEL. He has a drink and he thinks he\u2019s John Wayne, come on old mate you come out here and sit down.<\/p>\n<p>Del gives Reg a disapproving look as he ushers the man out of the toilets.<\/p>\n<p>INT. DAY. THE NAGS HEAD<\/p>\n<p>Del, with his arm round the man, enters.<\/p>\n<p>DEL. He\u2019s a bit of plonker my old man, but he\u2019s harmless enough, if he gives you anymore trouble, you let me know, and you (to the younger man) keep an eye on ya dad.<\/p>\n<p>Younger man nods.<\/p>\n<p>OLDER MAN. Did you say that was your old man?<\/p>\n<p>DEL. Yeah, why?<\/p>\n<p>OLDER MAN. No reason.<\/p>\n<p>Reg exits the toilet in a bit of a panic.<\/p>\n<p>REG. Grandad, Joan, come on we\u2019re leaving.<\/p>\n<p>GRANDAD. But we\u2019ve only just sat down.<\/p>\n<p>REG. Yeah I know but I\u2019ve just remembered I\u2019m expecting a really important phone call.<\/p>\n<p>JOAN. We ain\u2019t connected to the phone.<\/p>\n<p>REG. Well that\u2019s what the phone calls about innit<\/p>\n<p>(to Del) Del. Home, Now.<\/p>\n<p>Del say\u2019s his goodbyes to his mates and leaves with the family.<\/p>\n<p>OLDER MAN. I think we\u2019ve got the wrong man.<\/p>\n<p>YOUNGER MAN. Why?<\/p>\n<p>OLDER MAN. Because Freddy Robdal hasn\u2019t got a son\u2026\u2026\u2026.not one of that age at least.<\/p>\n<p>YOUNGER MAN. So that\u2019s it then is it?<\/p>\n<p>OLDER MAN. Haven\u2019t I taught you anything about me? Do you really think I\u2019m going to just give up? No I wanna make sure it\u2019s the wrong bloke for sure first, and even if it is I still might get you to give him a good hiding for wasting my time.<\/p>\n<p>YOUNGER MAN. What are you gonna do.<\/p>\n<p>OLDER MAN. I\u2019m going to make some more enquiries, starting with him.<\/p>\n<p>The older man gets up and approaches the bar.<\/p>\n<p>OLDER MAN. Barman, a word please.<\/p>\n<p>INT. DAY. THE TROTTERS FLAT.<\/p>\n<p>Joan, Del and Grandad sit in the chairs as Reg opens a glass of beer and swigs it back.<\/p>\n<p>REG. Del, kitchen.<\/p>\n<p>Reg goes into the kitchen and Del follows.<\/p>\n<p>REG.That bloke in the toilet<\/p>\n<p>DEL. What about him?<\/p>\n<p>REG. You ever seen him before?<\/p>\n<p>DEL. No never laid eyes on him, why?<\/p>\n<p>REG. So you\u2019ve never sold him anything?<\/p>\n<p>DEL. No course not, what\u2019s this all about?<\/p>\n<p>REG. Don\u2019t say nothing to your mother but he threatened me, at least I think he threatened me.<\/p>\n<p>DEL. What, that old git?<\/p>\n<p>REG. Yeah, are you sure you haven\u2019t flogged him anything?<\/p>\n<p>DEL. Honest Dad, I\u2019ve never seen him before, you should have told me he was threatening you.<\/p>\n<p>REG. Yeah he won\u2019t have stood a chance against both of us.<\/p>\n<p>DEL.
