We caught up with Simon Taylor who is arrangeing a OFAH Charity for BBC Children in Need for 2011<\/p>\n

He tells us, “I\u2019m am running at charity advent for bbc children in need 2011 september 9 – 12.<\/strong>
\nIt\u2019s a car run over 3 days starting off in Penzance and driving up to Peckham to meet in nags head for a good old cockney knees up.”<\/p>\n

Event Details<\/h2>\n

Simon tells us, “The run is over 3 days so we can stop off at only fools and horses film locations on way, Whitemead house Bristol, which was used as Nelson Mandela House, Weston-Super-Mare where the 2001 Christmas special was filmed plus loads more. My aim is to raise \u00a33000 for children in need. I myself drive a reliant del boy lookalike, but the run is open to all types of classic cars anything from 3 wheelers, vintage cars, kit cars, VW\u2019s, Cortina\u2019s , Reliant\u2019s etc.”
\n“I have had this idea for a few years now , in my car I have done charity runs before and about 4 years ago I did a only fools and horses night in Cornwall . I myself am a big only fools and horses fan , I have tons of only fools and horses stuff from signed pictures ,the trotters bar, a fruit machine which i have just brought of Perry . The East Anglia Stig will be attending the run – I intend to make this run big!”<\/p>\n

We hope there will be loads of fans joining Simon on this 3 day run<\/p>\n

The Route<\/h2>\n

Day one:
\nFriday 9 September 2011 <\/strong>
\nmeet at Penzance harbour car park depart at 10.00am drive 170 miles to Weston-Super-Mare with a couple of stops on way ,where Uncle Albert\u2019s funnel was filmed, also two local restaurants were used in the filming of only fools and horses, check in to campsite\/bed and breakfast.
\nBBQ on beach ,a night out in Weston or beach party!<\/p>\n

Day two:
\nSaturday 10 September\u00a02011<\/strong>
\na short 26 mile drive to Bristol were we spend the day as there are a lot of only fools sites to see in Bristol, Nelson Mandela house, delboys lock up ,the markets, Nags Head,etc., check into campsite\/bed and breakfast have lunch in one of delboys favourite restaurants and spend the evening in one of the pubs that was used as the nags head .<\/p>\n

Day three:
\nSunday 11 September\u00a02011<\/strong>
\nfrom Bristol we drive 122 miles to Peckham to finish the run , with a couple of stops on way ,check into campsite\/bed and breakfast ,and we finish the run with a cockney night in the nags head were you get to meet del-boy lookalike, and a good old party at end of run .<\/p>\n

Day four:
\nMonday 12 September\u00a02011<\/strong>
\ndepart back home after breakfast and thank you to all who gave up your time for this run and help raise money for BBC children in need and hope all have had fun in attending this advent !<\/p>
