For anyone who missed the recent BBC tribute to John Sullivan it was very obvious what a genuis writer John Sullivan was and is quite rightly regarded.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the email in full from David Jason:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A TRIBUTE TO JOHN SULLIVAN BY SIR DAVID JASON<\/p>\n<p>I heard about John\u2019s death whilst on holiday in Florida and so driving back through Miami brought back all the memories of Miami Twice and the fun we\u2019d had over there.  Then to get back to the UK and see so many wonderful tributes in the press, brought it home again to me what a great friend I had lost.  Being at his funeral was like being in the wrong scene in the wrong script \u2013 it shouldn\u2019t have been happening.
