Quite a statement to receive fom Only Fools and Horses fan\u00a0Chris Nolan regarding the\u00a0Peckham Spring referred to in the episode\u00a0Mother Nature&#8217;s Son in 1992. So we decided to ask Chris to explain his theory<\/p>\n<h2>On the Trail of Peckham Spring<\/h2>\n<p>Where does one start such a search? I tried by stripping back the years and all the urban sprawl, which cover over all the pre-existing natural features. Browse more recent maps at the same location and the feature appears to emanate from what is now the rear garden of No. 86 Clayton Road. In true Del Boy fashion, selected internet searches suggests a potentially bigger storey &#8211; Peckham Rye &#8211; Peckham Rithe in 1520 could refer to a small stream. Peckham Rye &#8211; a site for one of Boudicca&#8217;s battles etc. what used to go on at Uncle Alberts allotment way back when?
