January 2013 update:<\/strong> \u00a0The Sun recently reported the new episode was being written by John Sullivan. David Jason confirmed this by reporting the following: \u201cThe idea of it was Del Boy\u2019s 65th. Unfortunately it didn\u2019t come about.\u201d<\/p>\n

It’s been known for some time that John Sullivan and the BBC had secretly been planning a new christmas special episode to celebrate 30 years of the show.<\/h3>\n

More recently Only Fooles fans claim they heard confirmation from John Challis who plays the Boycie. “A\u00a030th anniversary reunion had been planned for screening in 2011 as a BBC special. However, the death of Only Fools And Horses writer John Sullivan meant the plans were shelved.”<\/p>\n

  • Maybe Del and Raquel finally get married<\/li>\n
  • We would of seen how Rodney and Cassandra’s baby named Joan after his late mother\u00a0had become a little girl aged 9<\/li>\n
  • Damien would of been a young man<\/li>\n
  • Or perhaps would would of seen Del and Rodney on a trip out in the country to catchup with Boycie and Marlen on the\u00a0Winterdown Farm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    I’m sure many final loose ends would of been tied up in a way that only John Sullivan could – who knows what he may of had in store for Only Fools and Horses fans<\/p>
