Scene 1<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Nags head. Boycie and Marlene are in the pub\u00a0 and Mike at the bar.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Mike: <\/strong>So did you have a good holiday then you two?<\/p>\n

Boycie: <\/strong>Oh yes Michael we had a lovely holiday, nice hotels, good weather. \u00a0There we were taking in the wonders and natural beauty of the peaceful Everglades, then Del and Rodney showed up, and all of a sudden we were being shot at by the mafia! It was like a cross between Miami vice and wildlife on one.<\/p>\n

Mike: <\/strong>What did I tell you before you went away then eh Boycie? contract killers I said. And I was right.<\/p>\n

Marlene: <\/strong>That\u2019s right, it makes you think doesn\u2019t it? could have happened to anybody couldn\u2019t it? I mean it could\u2019ve happened to us!<\/p>\n

Boycie: <\/strong>That\u2019s right, mind you I don\u2019t know what would be worse, having a bunch of ruthless Italian killers trying to bump us off any way possible, or coming face to face with someone who looks exactly like you Marlene! Hahahahahahahaha!<\/p>\n

Marlene: <\/strong>(says nothing and walks over to the push chair) Come on Tyler let\u2019s go home and laugh at those funny looking people on the tele.<\/p>\n

Mike: <\/strong>Aah, what\u2019s that then his favourite kids program?<\/p>\n

Marlene:<\/strong> No, on top of the TV cabinet it\u2019s a photograph of Boycies family.<\/p>\n

Mike: <\/strong>(laughs) nice one! See you soon Marlene take care love.<\/p>\n

Trigger enters the bar<\/p>\n

Trigger: <\/strong>Watchya Boycie, I\u2019ll \u2018ave a pint of mild please Mike. good holiday?<\/p>\n

Boycie:<\/strong> Not too bad Trig. I preferred it to the various island holidays we\u2019ve been on in the past.<\/p>\n

Trigger: <\/strong>Yeah, I bet it gets a bit boring staying in one place for 2 weeks don\u2019t it?<\/p>\n

Boycie: <\/strong>Well I wouldn\u2019t mind it if I was on my own. But going on a single centre holiday with Marlene is like spending 2 weeks on a beach with Peggy Mitchell.<\/p>\n

Trigger: <\/strong>Yeah, but you\u2019ve got a nice pair of boobs to look at though.<\/p>\n

Boycie:\u00a0 <\/strong>Yeah\u2026 Eh?! I take it you\u2019re talking about Peggy Mitchell!<\/p>\n

Trigger: <\/strong>Yeah course!<\/p>\n

Boycie: <\/strong>I should think so too, I mean you should see what Marlene has to offer, it\u2019s like looking at 2 raisins on a breadboard!<\/p>\n

Trigger: <\/strong>I\u2019d like to meet a girl with a nice pair.<\/p>\n

Mike: <\/strong>Yeah, well beggars can\u2019t be choosers eh Trig! Just a girl would do for starters! (laughs)<\/p>\n

Trigger: <\/strong>I\u2019ve had my fair share of women Mike.<\/p>\n

Boycie: <\/strong>Yeah, but every time you take a bird out to dinner they have to ask to look the menu in braille.\u00a0 ahahahahahahahaha\u2026<\/p>\n

Trigger: <\/strong>Actually Boycie I\u2019ll have you know that all the birds I\u2019ve had, have been attracted to me because of my good looks.<\/p>\n

Boycie: <\/strong>Well it wouldn\u2019t be through stimulating conversation would it!\u00a0 You make Roland the Rat sound intelligent.(Del walks in the bar) Oh look here comes this year\u2019s\u00a0 winner of the Godfather look-alike contest!<\/p>
