Cassandra is expecting, and he wants more  responsibility and a better job to provide for his family. He unwittingly  replies for a job advertisement, posted by Del to alleviate Rodney&#8217;s  workload.<\/div>\n<div>Del, meanwhile, has decided to take his manhood into his own hands and get  a vasectomy. Doctor Singh is hounding him regarding dodgy paint, and the  nightmare of him getting revenge on Del&#8217;s crown jewels puts him off the  idea.<\/div>\n<div>Cassandra is rushed into hospital, suffering a miscarriage. Rodney breaks  down, and it&#8217;s Del who tells him he has to be strong for his wife. Del then  blubs his eyes out, as Rodney supports his wife.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ofah.net\/images\/modern.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ofah.net\/images\/modern1.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ofah.net\/images\/modern2.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ofah.net\/images\/modern13.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" \/><\/div>\n<h2>Episode Observations<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>In Modern Men, Del snd Roodney are in the kitchen and del places his plate in  the washing up bowl, this is after Del tells Rodney he is going to promote him  to Sales Director. Del then rinses some water into the bowl, then turns off the  tap and takes of a rubber washing up glove. In a scene of a few seconds you  don&#8217;t even see him put the glove on!<\/li>\n<li>In Modern Men, when they are in the pub, when its Dels turn for the  drinks, he gives Mike a hairdryer( really an electric paint scrubber). If you  notice Del picks up the hairdryer off the floor.<\/li>\n<li>In Modern Men, When Rodney is modelling a crash helmet turban, in one  take he has a scarf\u00a0 in front of\u00a0 his shoulder. Immediately on the next shot the  scarves behind his shoulder.<\/li>\n<li>In Modern Men, the 3 wheeled vans registration is DHV 938 D whereas in  &#8220;The Russians are Coming&#8221;and &#8220;A Touch of Class&#8221; the vans reg is APL 911 H, in  many other episodes it&#8217;s clear that it&#8217;s not the same van used each  episode.<\/li>\n<li>In Modern Men, when Del is in the bedroom , the extremely tacky  purple headboard hasn&#8217;t a large golden heart within its design, whereas in  &#8220;Chance of a Lunchtime&#8221; the heart was incorporated within the design.<\/li>\n<li>In Modern Men, when Rodney phones Del up for his own job, Raquel puts him  on hold. The music that plays while he is on hold is&#8230; &#8230;&#8221;Ol&#8217; Shep&#8221; &#8211; Del&#8217;s  favourites song about dog, ever (from Diamonds are for Heather).<\/li>\n<li>In Modern Men, Sid&#8217;s Cafe increases significantly in size from Miami  Twice and Dates in this episode.
