Del and Raquel The Wedding :\u00a0Set in 2004<\/h2>\n

part 1<\/h3>\n

This is my second script I have written for ofah.net, after my first one, called Toothpaste, which people seemed to like, this Script is much longer than the Toothpaste script and the story is about Del and Raquel Getting Married, It is a 2 part story, with the 2nd part coming tomorrow<\/p>\n

Scene 1: INT – Trotters living room<\/strong><\/p>\n

Del and Rodney enter the room, they are having a Small argument.<\/p>\n

Del – “A right waste of time that turned out to be!”<\/p>\n

Rodney – “What did i say? I told you this morning it was waste of time but you wouldn’t have any of it”<\/p>\n

Del – “You never said anything of the sort Rodney”<\/p>\n

Rodney – “Yes i did, i clearly remember saying……..”<\/p>\n

Raquel Interrupts Del and Rodney<\/p>\n

Raquel – “What’s up with you two!? you’ve been arguing like this for two days now!”<\/p>\n

Del and Rodney look at each other Glaringly, their is a Silence for a few seconds, Rodney begins to speak..<\/p>\n

Rodney – “We….”<\/p>\n

Del – “Shut up Rodney!”<\/p>\n

Rodney gives Del another Glaring look<\/p>\n

Del – “Would you join me in the Executive Boardroom please?”<\/p>\n

Del gives Raquel an ‘everything is fine’ look, as he and Rodney enter the kitchen.<\/p>\n

Scene 2 – INT: Kitchen<\/strong><\/p>\n

Del – “Well?”<\/p>\n

Rodney – “Well what?”<\/p>\n

Del – “Where did you leave it?, Think Rodney, Think!”<\/p>\n

Rodney – “Derek, If I knew where i’d left it, we wouldn’t be in this mess would we”<\/p>\n

Del – “What am i going to do? \u00a3900 that ring cost me”<\/p>\n

Rodney has a surprised Look on his face<\/p>\n

Rodney – “\u00a3900!?, That ring look like it fell out of a Christmas Cracker”<\/p>\n

Del – “That ring looked very Expensive”<\/p>\n

Rodney – “Well, It’s irrelevant anyway seeing how you’ve lost it!”<\/p>\n

Del – “Me!… i did no such thing, you Lost it Rodney!”<\/p>\n

Realising Del is right, Rodney struggles for words<\/p>\n

Rodney – “We… Wh… A… I’m sorry, Alright!?<\/p>\n

Del – “Sorry!, Oh well Rodney is sorry, everything is alright then”<\/p>\n

Rodney – “I’ve got a idea”<\/p>\n

Del – “I don’t wanna hear it Rodney, it was your stupid idea this morning, to walk around Peckham for 7 Bleedin’ Hours with that Metal Projector!<\/p>\n

Rodney – “Detector”<\/p>\n

Del – “What!?<\/p>\n

Rodney – “It’s Metal Detector”<\/p>\n

Del – “Just shut up Rodney”<\/p>\n

Rodney “Fine”<\/p>\n

Rodney begins to walk back into the living room, Del calls him back to the Kitchen<\/p>\n

Del – “Rodney!”<\/p>\n

Rodney – “What now?”<\/p>\n

Del – “Come here a minute, Tell me, What’s your Idea?”<\/p>\n

Rodney – “It’s a bit of a long-shot Del”<\/p>\n

Del – “Ok, what is it?”<\/p>\n

Rodney – “Trigger”<\/p>\n

Del – “Trigger?”<\/p>\n

Rodney – “Trigger’s a road-sweeper”<\/p>\n

Del – “yeah, and?”<\/p>\n

Rodney – “Meaning he sweeps the roads…”<\/p>\n

Del – “Ohhhhhh, i see”<\/p>\n

Rodney – “Maybe Trigger saw the ring, and handed it into Lost property or something”<\/p>\n

Del – “Good thinking Rodney, I’ll phone him”<\/p>\n

Rodney – “No, you can’t,<\/p>\n

Del – “Why not?”<\/p>\n

Rodney – “Trigger doesn’t have a phone, remember, he thought Aliens were listening to his calls to gather human Intelligence”<\/p>\n

Del – “We’ll have to go down to his depot then, what time is it now?”<\/p>\n

Rodney – “4:20”<\/p>\n

Del – “We better go now, come on Rodney”<\/p>\n

Del and Rodney leave the building.<\/p>\n

Scene 3: – Council Depot<\/strong><\/p>\n

Del and Rodney enter the council Depot, they approach the Lost property section, There is nobody at the desk, so they wait, while they are waiting they see Trigger, he is finishing his shift and is returning his broom to the depot, Del tries to catch Triggers attention but before he can, a woman appears at the desk.<\/p>\n

Woman – “How Can i help you?”<\/p>\n

Del – “My Dopey brother here has gone and lost a very expensive ring, which i left with him for safe keeping”<\/p>\n

Woman: – “Could you describe it please?”<\/p>\n

Del – “Well, it was round”<\/p>\n

The Woman gives Del a Look<\/p>\n

Woman: – “I see, and which Material?<\/p>\n

Del – “Gold, 24 carat Gold<\/p>\n

Woman: – I’ll go and check if anything matching your description has been handed in, please wait here one moment sir”<\/p>\n

Del – “Thank you”<\/p>\n

The Woman goes to look for the Ring.<\/p>\n

Rodney – “That ring weren’t gold Del!”<\/p>\n

Del – Eh?<\/p>\n

Rodney – “What did you tell her it was 24 carat gold for?”<\/p>\n

Del – “Well, with any luck, she might have a 24 Carat Gold Ring over there, going to waste, all i’d be doing is putting it to good use”<\/p>\n

Rodney – “You’re something else Del”<\/p>\n

Del – “Shhh Rodney, she’s here now”<\/p>\n

Woman – “We found one ring matching your description”<\/p>\n

Del – “Lets see”<\/p>\n

The Woman shows Del the Ring, it is the ring they have been looking for, a look of relief is seen across Rodney’s face.<\/p>\n

Del – “That’s it, that’s the ring, you’ve saved my life, you really have”<\/p>\n

Woman – “Now all i need is some kind of proof that this ring belongs to you, A Receipt or Invoice of some kind”<\/p>\n

Del – “One moment please”<\/p>\n

Del and Rodney pull away to one side.<\/p>\n

Del – “What are we gonna do now?”<\/p>\n

Rodney – “Show her the receipt, and lets get out of here, I’m starving”<\/p>
