It was certainly the base location until popularity made it impossible to film in london and the team moved to Bristol.<\/p>\n<p>Rumours were the block was about to be pulled down in 2011.<\/p>\n<p><em>Sixties tower blocks on the sprawling South Acton Estate were used as the location for the long-running sitcom. But now the 17-hectare site is being bulldozed as part of a \u00a3500million regeneration project.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Harlech Tower in Park Road East, which fans of the show know better as Nelson Mandela House, the Peckham home of the Trotter family, will be demolished during the second phase of the project due to begin in 2011.<\/em><\/p><div class=\"d7386eeb5bdcd2f43c1295b58ceaf130\"
