When the Jolly Boys Outing was filmed back in 1989 it later in the year went out to 20.1 million viewers\u00a0on\u00a025th December. It soon became one of the\u00a0nations favorite episodes. It was also a pivotal episode as it led to the revealing of Rodneys true father and established a link for Rock and Chips.<\/p>\n

Adrian Pegg<\/strong><\/em> was part of the production team\u00a0during the 1989 Only Fools and Horses classic. Adrian recently gave us some unseen photos and\u00a0some facts. Here are a few below and we will put the rest on\u00a0the web site shortly.<\/p>\n

In The Jolly Boys Outing, their is a scene where Del and Rodney arrive at the scary Bed and\u00a0Breakfast. This was one of the first times a location scene in a sitcom was partly shot on video. Portable video cameras had only just come into use and the rest was shot on 16mm film. It was still experimental and video needs far less light than the film boys were used to, so you might just be able to see the difference. Adrian Pegg<\/em><\/p>
