When Perry contacted me over 4 years ago he claimed he had the Only Fools and Horses scoop of the decade. He said its the Holy Grail, the most staggering thing he had come across for years. Now Perry isnt one to over-react so i knew it was something special. But then i never saw it myself until now…<\/p>\n

I can now share with you what Perry was stunned to come accross back in 2013<\/p>\n

David Jason actually found it. Very casually an old script was handed to Perry. When Perry\u00a0looked at it, he said he very nearly fell off his chair. “Not only was it one that not in the clubs collection \u2013 but it was possibly the holy grail as far as I’m concerned” Perry told me. “It was for the \u2018Hole in One\u2019 episode \u2013 but was it the re-worked version we all know with Buster Merryfield \u2013 or the fabled early draft that was meant for Lennard Pearce ? So with shaking hands I opened it and bingo !!!! it\u2019s the Lennard Pearce version. The basic plot is obviously the same, but with Uncle Alberts part totally written for Grandad \u2013 to all intents and purposes its almost like reading a new John Sullivan master piece episode !!!!!! This is special \u2013 VERY special !!!!! This is the scoop of the decade”<\/p>
