The Green Green Grass Summary
Boycie & Marlene Renewal Of Marriage Vows
From the writing pen of John Sullivan, and as a spin-off from the lovable Only Fools and Horses, Boycie played by John Challis has turned “supergrass” and has given evidence against the Driscoll brothers. Then he finds out that not only are they about to be released from jail on a legal technicality but they also know who “grassed them up”. Boycie quickly sells his used car business and his house in Peckham and buys a farm in the wilds of Shropshire. He moves from selling cars to selling cows.
His wife Marlene played by Sue Holderness and his son Tyler played by Jack Doolan are less than happy about the sudden move from London to the country. The 4 series are based on the fact that Marlene still misses her friends from Peckham and Boycie really doesn’t fit in with the whole farming lark.
For several of the episodes we see the Driscoll Brothers hunting Boycie down for one reason or another.
