Green, Green, Grass
Series 1 – Episode 1 – Keep on Running
A great start to this new sit-com spin-off from John Sullivan.
So how can he get Marlene and Boycie ourt of the Only Fools and Horses Peckham surroundings and out into the country?
This episode makes the connection, and does it well. We are introduced to a grown up Tyler with attitude and there new dog replacing Dukie ( a nice touch – you can see a picture of Dukie in there kitchen look closely)
The story starts off with Denzil turning up and after a general discussion, it becomes clear the the Driscoll Brothers are after there grass, which clearly makes Boycie feel very uneasy.
In no time at all Boycie has sold his business and his house and is moving the family out to the country. But it wont ever be that simple as Boycie isn’t naturally your average gentleman farmer in Shropshire.
With some nice little references to Delboy, for example they spend all night trying to find there new Winterdown Farm using his Satelite navigation system.
The sitcom looks set to now make it on its own
Well done, it looks like Mr Sullivan has pulled it off again
