The prequel to Only Fools and Horses is called Rock & Chips.
It will air on BBC1, Sunday 24 January, 9pm
The Nags Head in the 1960s
Rock & Chips is a new BBC One 90-minute comedy drama which focuses on the earlier years of Peckham’s most famous family, the Trotters. It is centred on the relationships between Joan and Reg Trotter and Freddie “The Frog” Robdal along with a young Del Boy himself.
Dels young friends will include Boycie, Trigger, Denzil, Roy Slater and Jumbo Mills.
The Trotter family haven’t yet moved into their flat in Nelson Mandela House, but there’ll be some recognisable settings such as the mean streets of Peckham and the Nag’s Head circa-1960.
