It’s not often you come across an old lost jacket yet alone Del boys jacket from series 2
There you are going through your old bits and bobs and think “I remember that old Jacket”. That must of been the case when founder of the Only Fools and Horses Appreciation Society Perry Aghajanoff was sorting out some gear. It is almost reminiscent of the garage scene when Del and Rodney are going through a few things in his garage and come across an old watch.
“Oh that’s just an old watch I got out of a house clearance years ago. I’ve got a lovely collection of Showaddywaddy LPs.”
Del boys jacket found
Fortunately Perry recalled this was the very jacket Del wore in Series 2.
He told us, “I was sorting through the clubs archives and found this jacket – didn’t know we had it – I’m sure it’ll be of interest to everyone”
Certainly will as its another piece of history that benefits all the fans.
Well done Perry for uncovering a great archive. I’m sure we will all be keen to see Del boys jacket at the next convention.

what a find lovely jacket is it for sale?
Hello love the jacket. Is it for sale?
Nice jacket, but did you know that my husband had the same sheepskin coat – bought it in the Yeovil Sheepskin shop. He was always known as “Del Boy” from his habit of wearing his camel hair coat over his shoulders. When he saw Del wearing the sheepskin he nearly died!! But it was a beautiful coat, now in the possession of a good mate as, sadly, hubby died last year. The coat is going strong though!!
Right nice piece, Can i have it!?
