Did You Know?

According to John Sullivan he got the idea for the script from his dads favourite pub "The Duke of Devonshire". The guy who ran it was called "Boycie". The place was a dive but the guy  explained it was "Ethnic English" thus the idea was implanted in Sullivans mind.
