Hello, I was informed recently when visiting John Lennon’s home and seeing a blue plaque on the wall that the person had to have been deceased for 20 years, just wondering if this is the case if there are exceptions to this?
I would love a ticket to this event, anyone with a spare ticket that I could purchase please could they email me at benedictsloane@gmail.com
thank you
Really wish I could get a ticket for this event. Please email me on benedictsloane@gmail.com if anyone has one for sale
well said Perry you can purchase David Jason Autograph from The Only Fools shop on this website. This a respectable event to a great man who provided us with the finest comedy of all time.
like I said on the mail out – this will NOT be an autograph signing session – its a respectful tribute to John Sullivan. Please understand that – this is about John Sullivan and not getting your autographs books filled up.

I know it says no autograph’s but surely they would allow a few???
55,573 boys gave up their lives so that we can have the freedom we have today. The bomber command memorial’s upkeep has led to some losing their homes they remortgaged in good faith!!!!!£78 still seem too much?????
Listen, I never said this charity didn’t deserve any money, I said £78 for somebody perhaps who doesn’t earn a lot is steep. That is a fact. Not steep in principle, because the people who gave up their lives for those who live today will always be in debt to their honour. That goes for you and I.
Those who funded this organisation to the point of losing their homes is considered overly thoughtful as well as ridiculous – especially for their families who will obviously have gone through the stresses and strains of seeing their home get sold off.
Some people out there are dubious as to where money ends up with some charities (not necessarily the Bomber Command Memorial) and are entitled to question (before they may consider donating) the amount a charity asks for and to have an opinion on how much is requested.
I was lucky enough to get a ticket will be great event.John was a genius creating all the shows he did.
Will be a nice event.
£78 is a bit steep, even if it is for charity.
Would love to take my husband to the unveiling but just missed out. If anyone out there has spare tickets or can not make it please e.mail me on sugarpie1@virginmedia.com. Thanks Helen.
