  2. Hoofman says:

  3. Rob M says:

The final 2 eps were revealed by sir David Jason last night on GOLD:

    2. a touch of glass
    1. jolly boys outing

jolly boys outing won the #1 spot as the nation’s favourite episode.

  4. Gerry says:

longest night ?? miracle of peckham ?some odd titles made it in top 20
so jolly boys outing better than Batman, time on our hands, unlucky winner is,
crying, danger uxd, would the public like to maybe vote again but seriously.
friday 14th number 7? tea for three number 4 is almost a joke not that good

    • Ian says:

I’ve just finished watching Jolly Boys Outing from the 20 Only Fools….and noticed a scene I haven’t seen before. Certainly not on VHS and DVD…
The scene as Del and Rodney sit down in the club and chat about cassandra, birds and blokes chat.
I had noticed a few other episodes that had other scenes I hadn’t seen before, so not sure if they are showing the original tv versions from way back. The opening scene to miami vice had the quo song in and not tears for fears..
I had noticed this on netflix with the first 3 series, lots of unedited versions..

  5. James says:

Here’s the top 20 so far.

    20. Cash and Curry
    19. Class of 69
    18. Who’s a pretty Boy
    17. The Miracle of Peckham
    16. Danger UXD
    15. The Russians are coming
    14. Sleeping Dogs Lie
    13. Three men, a women and a baby
    12. May the Force Be with You
    11. Strange Relations
    10. The Long Game
    9. Time On Our Hands
    8. The Unlucky Winner Is
    7. Friday the 14th
    6. Yuppy Love
    5. Hero’s and Villains
    4. Tea For Free
    3. Stage Fright

I think number 2 will either be A Touch Of Glass or To Hull and Back and number 1 has got to be The Jolly Boys Outing.

    • Griff says:

Number 20 was Miami Twice and number 10 must be a lost episode never aired.

I hope number 1 isn’t A Touch of Glass purely down to the infamous scene.

If Jolly Boys is not in the top 2, then I would question which kind of fans actually voted! You have the hard-core fans from late 20’s to well over 50’s and perhaps you have the younger fans who may see things differently? I don’t know.

I’m so very surprised by some of the choices and where they fit. Everybody has their opinion but I can’t help but think Cash and Curry/Who’s a Pretty Boy shouldn’t have been in the top 20. Tea for Three – great episode, but number 4????

      • James says:

Ah, sorry about that mistake, I seen the list on an Only Fools Facebook page and copied it over here. Miami Twice wasn’t 20 it was Sir David’s personal favourite. You’re right though the top 20 is a little strange looking in general!

  6. Danboy says:

So, what number are we up/down to now? And what episodes have been picked so far?

    • Gerry says:

      just into the top ten:
      episodes that have been done:
20 cash and curry 19 class of 62 18 whos a pretty boy
17 miracle of peckham 16 danger uxd 15 russians are coming
14 sleeping dogs lie 13 three men a woman and a baby(Del is a dad)
12 may the force be with you 11 strained relations(sad Grandad)
10 the longest night 9 time on our hands(trotters are millionaires)

      • Danboy says:

        Hi Gerry,

Thanks for that. Wow, some strange episodes have made the top 20. Cash and curry? Russians are coming? The longest night? Don’t get me wrong, all enjoyable episodes, but wouldn’t be in my top 20!

        • Sleathy says:

THANKS for the updated list …keep it going ….and has anyone managed to record Sir David for each time?

        • Griff says:

Here Here!!! Some mad choices for top 20.

I’ll be honest, I never voted. Infact, I didn’t know about the voting!! I thought there was some minor online poll some months back, but didn’t know Gold were actively asking the fans to vote for a show.

People on social media were almost outraged by Miami Twice being DJ’s faveourite episode. Why?? It’s a bloody amazing and clever episode. It surprises me how many people dislike this episode or consider it their least faveourite. It’s one of the most exciting and funny epsiodes and that was the impression I got from tens of thousands of fans growing up. These days, as I mentioned in a previous post, younger fans may view these episodes differently.

    • Rob M says:

I think number 8, is the unlucky winner is……

the painting competition, groovy gang, David Jason introduced this episode on GOLD about an hour ago.

  7. Rob M says:

I’m baffled and confused about the format aswell.

I thought Saturday night at 9.00, would be a 1-off special, and the entire 2 hours with sir David Jason talking about only fools, working with John Sullivan, and discussing his favourite episode.

but the complete 2 hours, was filled with ‘the miami twice’ episode?

and as if that wasn’t mind boggling enough, we are seeing further episodes on GOLD with David’s 19th, 18th, and 17th, fav eps…….

    I’m lost?

    • James says:

Hi Rob, the format is that Sir David says a little bit about the episode before they go and show it.

So on Saturday night there he revealed ‘Miami Twice’ as his favourite and said a little bit about it (such as a memory while filming) then they go ahead and show the whole episode. It’s going to be the same for all of them right down to number 1, we only get to see Sir David for a minute or so before each episode.

I was hoping that someone would upload a collection of all the short clips of Sir David before each episode after they’re all revealed so we can watch them all in one long video, which would be nice as i won’t be able to see them all as they’re actually revealed.

  8. Gerry says:

slightly confused with format of these top 20 OF and Hs
i thought Sir David would have a bit more to do with the top 20 i missed first 10 mins of Miami Twice last night has Sir David revealed his favourite?

  9. James says:

Ah, I see the format for this is that Sir David says a little bit about the episode before they show it.

I hope someone uploads a collection of all the short clips of Sir David before each episode after they’re all revealed so we can watch them all in one long video, which would be nice as i won’t be able to see them all as they’re revealed.

    • Griff says:

I’m glad I’m not the only one to have got confused with the format.

I was expected a one-off episode of David Jason basically giving an interview throughout plus some of the clips of the episodes.

After the few minutes of DJ talking, it cut to Miami Twice and I just thought they were going to show a clip. Then I realise they’re showing the whole movie!

Kinda disappointed because although I never turn my nose up at any airing of a Fools, I expected more!

      Love David Jason. Sheer legend.

      • Carol Baillie says:

I agree,James and Griff, I thought it would be a count down of his top 20 faves, and I started to record it then canclled it, when I realised it was the whole episode, I was disappointed too!

    • Lee says:

Does anyone have the documentary that was on gold a couple of years ago. The top 40 moments featuring boyce and Marlene?

  10. Rob M says:

Dont worry if you miss the ‘David Jason reveals’ programme tonight at 9.00 – as it’s repeated tommorow (Sunday 1st Feb) at 4.00 in the afternoon on GOLD.

and not to worry if you miss that either – because you can catch it at the +1 hour at 5.00.

so there’s plenty of opportunities to catch this.

  11. Ronnie says:

I would have an issue with lots of props being owned by one person if they did not let others see them in some way, but he has so I don’t mind.

  12. Dean says:

If it wasn’t for Perry only fools and horses wouldn’t be alive still he works hard for the fans!!! If it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t of meet them all his a top man!!!

  13. Mike G says:

I personally don’t agree with one fan (Perry Aghajanoff) owning practically all of the props used in the show. Did he even pay for any of them?

They should all be in a museum of kept at the BBC.

If it’s any other fan, they have to pay shed loads for simple replicas. Perry is likely to be getting all of this for free.

We are grateful for the OFAH convention work Perry and his team put in, but hogging some of the most famous pieces of props is a bit greedy IMO.

    Am I jealous? Possibly.

    • Griff says:

Sounds like you are jealous my san!

Perry brings a lot to the OFAH fans out there.

      Fair play to him.

    • CraigW says:

I echo what some others have said on here. Without Perry’s time, hard work, dedication and commitment Only Fools would not be the same!

As much as we all love and adore the show, the events that are put on are what is keeping OFAH alive.

Without Perry, my collection wouldn’t be what it is today!

Having the pleasure of working with a true gent and helping the club with new thoughts, ideas and events/conventions is something I’m proud of, and I personally know the blood, sweat and tears that Perry puts in to keep our favourite show going, and bringing us new items all the time!

Keep up the good work Pel, we want to see many more of your hidden gems!

      CW

  14. Michael says:

How did Perry get his mitts all over some of the most legendary of props? Did he used to attend all of the filming and lurk around for hours until someone gave him a load of stock to get rid of him?

Is there anyone out there that has some props that isn’t Perry Aghajanoff?

  15. Cushty says:

    I spot Mickey Pearce’s hat!

  16. Ashton says:

    This looks interesting.Can’t wait
