I met Gareth several times over the years and he was always appreciative of
the society and always willing to help us, especially in the early yearsI remember interviewing him for the society at the BBC in the mid 1990s and
he took me to the BBC restaurant – I was so impressedHe was always willing to give us a little scoop too – I remember when he
told me a new mini series was planned in 1996, for a few sweet weeks I was
one of the privileged to knowIt was Gareth too who arranged and approved the Society getting most of the
costumes we have in our collection nowI will be forever grateful
