Del wants Fools comeback !

According to the Sun newspaper, tv legend David Jason wants to return as Del Boy, he revealed yesterday.

David, 65, said: "I'd never say never to doing a new Only Fools And Horses.

"I'd like to think I'm putting more spacing between projects so I have time for family things, but retirement isn't a word I'd use."

But he lashed BBC bosses for relying on repeats of the classic.

He said: "When shows have been on two or three times, they're being screened simply because it's cheap TV. I'm glad people still enjoy the work but I think it's time to move on."

David recently voted the telly star Sun readers love the most is back later this month in new ITV drama Diamond Geezer.

He plays lag Des, who risks his imminent release to pull off a gems heist by pretending to have a stroke.

Producers landed the star by keeping it clean of sex and violence.

David, who has a four-year-old called Sophie with girlfriend Gill Hinchcliffe, 44, admitted he is shocked by the adult content of some shows.
