    Note that I spell “Dennis” with two “N”s. That’s the way I have spelt it for 80 years now! I always thought that my name was completely unique in this world. Even as a Fools fan, I never spotted that Alan Parry was played by my near namesake.
    I was born in Morden, Greater London. I would be most interested to learn about Denis’s background.
