A while back super Only Fools fan Liam Golder wants you to suggest your top 5 characters for 1 episode.
Liam tells us:
In this article I Am talking about the top 5 characters for a 1 off episode.
Admittedly it is hard to pick 5 out of all the great cast and it would have been interesting to have both Grandad and Uncle Albert in one show but of course the timing was different to only feature one at a time.
So here we have my top 5 which would be Delboy, Rodney, Trigger, Uncle Albert, and Denzil. Quite an interesting combination to be honest It is Trig (sadly no longer with us) which has always been my own personal favourite but we all have our own one. It takes an amazing talent to act so silly when in real life you are very intelligent and aware of what is going on. Trigger is very funny and plays the part so very well which is very believable he has a real talent.
Time On Our Hands – Denzil takes the lead
Delboy and Rodney would add there normal spin on things and add the heart and soul of the script as always. Rodney sees the trouble in every situation yet still ends up being part of the next fix and finding out its all to much hassle.
Denzil is such an innocent character and has such a fragile way about him that makes him the likeable person who he acts, yet he is perfect to fall into the traps of Delboy and falls for it every time.
Of course the show would not be complete without Uncle Albert played by Buster Merryfield who apparently auditioned for OFAH without any TV acting experience. I can imagine Del getting Trigger and the rest of the 5 into all sorts of dodgy deals and cons in order to make the next suitcase of cash. So there we have my top 5 characters for OFAH but who would yours be?
