This Only Fools and Horses Rare Sketch took place in 1983 on BBC and is still in my memory. It was an unusual combo, Only Fools and Horses and the posh Russell Harty.
This rare sketch has a few little gems if you watch it a few times. Most lost episodes have something that you can get further enlightenment on. it feels there was never enough of Grandad, so this has extra appeal.

You can hear some comedy lines from previous series episodes every so often. The format feels like they are bouncing around a few ideas rather than a complete script. A bit like skilled jazz musicians so it’s quite natural. The 1983 sketch is not just done ad-hoc but also has a live audience, that looks dumbfounded by it all.
This was part of the Russell Harty’s 1983 Christmas special. This is superb footage of a rare moment with our favourite family, the Trotters. This sketch is featuring Del, Rodney and Grandad and they are rather poor and in need of an evening out. But Del has other plans.
